VPS8702 is a transformer driver designed specifically for small volume, low standby power consumption micro power isolation power supplies. Its periphery only needs to be matched with simple input and output filtering capacitors, isolation transformers, and rectification circuits to achieve an isolation power supply with an input voltage of 3-6V, multiple output voltages, and an output power of up to 3W. VPS8702 integrates two N-channel power MOSFETs and two P-channel power MOSFETs internally, forming a bridge connection method. The integrated oscillator inside the chip provides a pair of high-precision complementary signals, which can effectively ensure the high symmetry of the two power MOSFET drives and avoid circuit bias during operation. VPS8702 integrates multiple protection methods internally. The internal design has a high-precision dead zone control circuit to ensure that there is no common phenomenon under various working conditions; Integrated overcurrent detection protection and over temperature protection to prevent device damage in abnormal situations such as short circuits in the output of the switching power supply.
